To enable the SPO community to leverage the power of data to scale its operations, efficiency and impact by building knowledge, capacity, capability, platforms, partnerships and practices.

Create and disseminate high-quality, actionable knowledge on data and data sciences to inform and shape the development sector.
Impact data and data science use through convenings, events, workshops, learning modules, articles, discussions etc, with evidence.
Forge partnerships to bring global expertise into India and vice versa, and lead the conversation on the adoption and use of data and data science in the Indian development sector, to drive scalable social change.
Data and disruptive technologies are essential enablers to achieve social impact at scale, with speed and efficiency. There have been several technological advancements in leveraging data to build powerful analytics, visualisations and AI/ML models in the for-profit sector. The social sector too would benefit from the use of data and data science, and by building capacities and partnerships to leverage this progress.
CDSSI will assist SPOs in this direction by creating and disseminating actionable knowledge on data and data sciences, impacting data and data science practices and approaches, and by building partnerships and networks to drive scalable social change.

The CDSSI Fellowship 2024-25: Digital Public Goods For Social Impact offers Fellows the opportunity to develop Digital Public Goods (DPGs) for the social sector.
